- Drip edge at the eves. Start by laying roof deck protection, or shingle underlayment, over the decking (plywood/OSB).
Use chalk lines to find out the place you may lay them.- Using your cap nails, secure the deck safety to the roof. Overlap every row at the very least 3 to four inches.
